Hi, I’m Chardae Edoror.
My journey with food allergies began in 2021, when I unexpectedly developed more than 10 food allergies. I once freely enjoyed trying new foods, cooking family recipes and eating out with friends. Those same activities have become complicated, exhausting, and emotionally heavy. Every meal requires research, caution, and repeated explanations. Food allergies didn’t just change what I ate, they changed how I showed up socially and how connected I felt to the people around me.
Alongside that lived experience, I bring over a decade of professional experience building and scaling operational systems across supply chain, technology, and product management, including work in AI/ML-driven software. I’ve spent my career navigating complex data environments and translating them into tools that help people make better decisions.
I’m also deeply connected to the food ecosystem. I mentor food brands and am an investor in early-stage startups and CPG brands. Through this work, I’ve seen how challenging it is for brands, retailers, and consumers to communicate clearly about ingredients, allergens, and safety.
Living with food allergies myself, understanding how food systems work behind the scenes, and supporting brands trying to do better has shaped the vision for Clear Day.
Why Clear Day Exists
Clear Day exists to make food decisions feel easier, safer, and less isolating for people managing food allergies and food restrictions.
For many people, every meal takes extra work. Ingredient lists aren’t always clear. Hidden ingredients make decisions stressful. And eating out often means explaining your needs again and again, without ever feeling fully confident that your food is safe.
Over time, that effort adds up. What should be simple starts to feel exhausting, and moments centered around food can lose their joy.
Clear Day is here to change that. We’re building tools that simplify food information and make allergy communication easier, so people can spend less time guessing and more time enjoying meals, gatherings, and everyday moments with confidence.
Food should bring people together, not make life harder. Clear Day helps make that possible.
